Job Summary
Provide daily supervision, mentorship, and care for 8–13 students in on-campus homes while managing household routines, schedules, and medication administration. Drive students to activities, plan recreational events, lead daily devotions, and accompany them to Sunday Chapel services. Oversee budgeting and household reporting for the student group. The role involves a nine-day-on, three-day-off schedule with unscheduled weekday time while students attend school. Couples must be legally married for at least two years, both 27 or older, and hold valid U.S. driver's licenses to operate student home vans. This position requires a commitment to a smoke-free, weapon-free campus and the ability to lift 50 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Pet limitations: only fish and one dog of approved breeds allowed
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
