Job Summary
Two-person, Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School. Couples reside on campus in student homes, providing supervision, mentorship, routines management, medication administration, and transportation for approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include budgeting and household reporting, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, and coordinating with school schedules. Initially nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with potential transition to a placed Houseparent living with the same group of students. Relocation assistance and paid training are provided; comprehensive benefits included.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Pet limitations: only fish and one dog of approved breeds allowed
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
