Job Summary
Couples are hired as Full-time Flex Houseparents to reside in on-campus student homes, provide care and mentorship to groups of 8–13 students, supervise household routines and schedules, administer medications, drive students to activities, lead daily devotions, plan activities, and manage budgeting/reporting. The role starts with a nine-days-on/three-days-off schedule and transitions to a placed houseparent living with the same student group. Location is Hershey, PA with relocation assistance; compensation per person is $44,768 annually including housing and benefits. Requires high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and compliance with campus policies; both spouses must be 27+ and legally married for at least two years, with both submitting separate applications.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse, two-year marriage minimum
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- Protestant/Judeo-Christian chapel participation (proselytizing prohibited)
- Experience with youth preferred
