Job Summary
Houseparents (Full-time Flex) live on campus in student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and mentorship for ~8–13 students. The two-person team supports various homes with a nine-on/three-off schedule, leads daily devotions, plans activities, administers medications as needed, manages household routines and budgeting, and drives students to activities. The role transitions to a placed Houseparent over time and includes relocation to Hershey, PA with on-site housing and benefits. Requires a high school diploma or GED, valid U.S. driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a formal commitment from both spouses who are legally married for at least two years and aged 27+. Relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits are provided.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role models for students
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- No more than three dependent children residing in the student home
