Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School, living in on-campus student homes to supervise and mentor a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and reporting, and transitioning to a Placed Houseparent role. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with relocation to the Hershey, PA area provided. Salary per person is $46,917 with comprehensive benefits and relocation assistance.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Relocation assistance and paid training provided
