Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two married spouses) live in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and maintaining a structured, family-like environment. The role follows a schedule of nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement in a single student home where the same group of students are cared for. Relocation assistance is provided, and comprehensive benefits accompany the position.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for legally married couples
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
Additional Requirements
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Pet limitations: fish and one dog of approved breeds
- Background check may be required
