Job Summary
Two-person married couple sought to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School. Couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, supervision, and support for 8–13 students, including daily supervision, scheduling, administering medications, transportation to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions, and overseeing budgeting and reporting. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent role living and working with the same group of students in their own home. Includes relocation assistance, paid training, and comprehensive benefits; on-site housing and meals on duty.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse two-person role
- Must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; ability to model positive behavior for students
- Willingness to relocate to Hershey, PA and live on campus
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
