Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, mentorship, supervision, and guidance for a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving and planning activities, leading daily devotions and chapel, budgeting, and household reporting. The role starts with a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule before transitioning to a placed houseparent living with the same student group. Relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits are provided.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-year marriage requirement for both spouses
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Two-person role for couples
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Proficiency leading students in devotions and Judeo-Christian Chapel services
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Completed individual employment applications for both spouses
