Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparents living on campus in Hershey, PA, providing supervision, mentorship, medication administration, transportation, and planning of developmental and recreational activities for a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising daily routines, leading devotions and chapel, budgeting and household reporting, and ensuring student wellness. Schedule begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement as a placed houseparent living in the same student home. Relocation assistance provided; salary per person listed with comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
