Job Summary
Two-person, Full-time Flex Houseparent role at Milton Hershey School. Couples reside in on-campus student homes, supervising and mentoring a group of ~8–13 students, managing household routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and leading development and recreation, and supervising budgeting and reporting. Initially nine days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement in a fixed student home. Includes relocation assistance, comprehensive benefits, paid training, and on-campus housing. Requires married couple with both spouses age 27+, high school diploma or GED, US driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and adherence to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus. Both spouses must complete individual employment applications for consideration. Location hint: Ogdensburg, NY, US; relocation to Hershey, PA is involved.
Required Qualifications
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel
- No smoking or weapon on campus
- Pet limitations: fish and one dog of approved breeds
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
