Job Summary
Provide daily supervision, mentorship, and guidance for 8–13 students in on-campus homes while managing household routines and schedules. Administer medications, ensure student wellness, and drive students to activities. Plan and lead developmental, recreational, and devotional programs, including accompanying students to Sunday Chapel. Oversee budgeting and household reporting. Initially support various homes on a nine-day-on, three-day-off rotation before transitioning to a Placed Houseparent role with a specific student group. Both spouses must be married for at least two years, age 27 or older, and hold a valid driver's license to operate student vans.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
Desired Qualifications
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
