Job Summary
Two-person, married-couple role serving as Full-time Flex Houseparents on an on-campus site in Hershey, PA. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring a group of 8–13 students, managing household routines and schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel attendance, overseeing budgeting and reporting, and transitioning from nine days on / three days off to a placed houseparent model with the same student group. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Two-year marriage for eligibility (must be legally married for at least two years)
- Both spouses must complete individual employment applications
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
Additional Requirements
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Valid driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
