Job Summary
Houseparents (two-person, married couple) needed to live in on-campus student homes at Milton Hershey School. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring 8–13 students, managing household routines and schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and reporting. Initially, the role involves nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent living in a dedicated student home. Offers relocation assistance, full benefits, and paid training. Requires high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and demonstrated integrity. Must be legally married for at least two years, both spouses aged 27+, and adherence to campus policies (smoke- and weapon-free, limited dependents, etc.). For consideration, both spouses must complete individual employment applications.
