Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparent team on the Milton Hershey School campus in Hershey, PA, serving a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning to a placed houseparent role living with the same group of students. Schedule begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Experience working with youth
- Two-spouse requirement: both spouses must complete individual employment applications
- Age 27 or older per spouse
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
