Job Summary
Houseparents - Relocation to Hershey, PA required. A two-person, full-time flex houseparent role for married couples residing in on-campus student homes, providing supervision, mentorship, transportation, medication administration, and engagement in developmental activities for 8–13 students. Initial nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule with eventual placement as a steady houseparent in the same student home; includes relocation assistance, paid training, comprehensive benefits, and housing/meal provisions. Requires high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a two-year married relationship with both spouses aged 27+, along with a commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus and Judeo-Christian chapel activities.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse two-year marriage requirement
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Proven integrity and professionalism; role-modeling for students
