Job Summary
Conduct daily supervision and mentorship for 8–13 students while managing household routines and schedules. Administer medications, drive students to activities, and lead daily devotions alongside accompanying them to Sunday Chapel. Plan and engage in developmental and recreational activities, oversee budgeting and household reporting, and ensure student wellness. Work nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, transitioning eventually to a Placed Houseparent role with a specific student group. Requires a legally married couple, both 27+, with youth experience and a valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
Desired Qualifications
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
