Houseparents - Relocation to Hershey, PA Required

Houseparents for Milton Hershey School are a full-time Flex Houseparent two-person team, living on campus in student homes with a group of 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and participating in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning from nine consecutive days on duty with three days off to a placed houseparent role. Benefits include salary per person ($44,768), comprehensive insurance, retirement options, relocation assistance, and paid time off. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, two-person role for legally married couples (both spouses aged 27 or older), ability to lift 50 lbs, valid driver’s license, readiness to supervise youth and lead devotions, and a smoke-free, weapon-free campus with limited pet allowances. Relocation to Hershey, PA is required; both spouses must apply individually.
