Houseparents - Relocation to Hershey, PA Required

Houseparents reside on-campus in Lake City, PA, as part of a two-person, full-time Flex Houseparent team for Milton Hershey School. The role involves caring for 8–13 students in an on-campus home, providing daily supervision, mentorship, and guidance, and coordinating household routines, medications, transportation to activities, and developmentally appropriate activities. Responsibilities include budgeting and reporting, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel attendance, and transitioning to a placed houseparent role over time. Requires experience with youth, a high school diploma or GED, a valid U.S. driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a commitment to a smoke- and weapon-free campus. Relocation assistance is provided, and both spouses must complete individual applications; the position includes a comprehensive benefits package and housing/meal provisions. The schedule begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with potential long-term placement in a single student home.
