Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents team to reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, mentorship, supervision, and support for 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, managing routines and schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement as a Placed Houseparent living and working with the same group. Requires experience with youth, HS diploma or GED, both spouses aged 27+, and other safety/participation requirements as listed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for married couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and attending Chapel services
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
