Job Summary
Married couples will serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents on-campus in a student home, supervising 8–13 students, providing care, mentorship, and daily routines; duties include medications administration, driving to activities, planning development/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and reporting, with an initial nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule transitioning to a placed houseparent living with the same student group.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Relocation assistance and paid training provided
