Job Summary
Two-person on-campus role as Flex Houseparents responsible for supervising and mentoring a group of 8–13 students in student homes, managing daily routines, medications, transportation to activities, and leading devotions and Sunday Chapel. Duties include budgeting and household reporting, planning development and recreational activities, and transitioning from a nine-on/three-off schedule to a placed houseparent arrangement. Requires strong youth-facing caregiving, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, a valid U.S. driver’s license, and a high school diploma or GED. Located on Milton Hershey School campus in Hershey, PA with relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
