Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparents reside on-campus in student homes to supervise 8–13 students, provide care and guidance, administer medications, drive to activities, plan and participate in developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, manage budgeting and reporting, with an initial nine-on/three-off schedule transitioning to a placed houseparent in the same home. Relocation assistance is provided and compensation includes on-campus housing, meals on duty, utilities, and benefits; candidates must be a legally married couple for at least two years, both spouses 27+, and hold a high school diploma or GED.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
