Job Summary
Two-person, married-couple Houseparents needed to reside on campus at Milton Hershey School. Provide care, supervision, and mentorship for ~8–13 students in a structured, family-like home; duties include daily supervision, activities planning, medication administration, budgeting oversight, driving to activities, and leading devotions with students. Rollout begins as Flex Houseparents (nine days on, three off) with eventual placement in a stable student-home, full-time on-campus residence. Relocation assistance provided; salary per person listed with comprehensive benefits. Requires high school diploma or GED, valid driver's license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and being part of a legally married couple for at least two years with both spouses aged 27+. Must comply with campus policies (smoke-free, weapon-free, no alcohol) and be able to drive student vans after certification. This role emphasizes youth development, family-style living, and adherence to Judeo-Christian services.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. driver's license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Two years married (two-person role)
- Spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children living in the student home
- Commitment to smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Past experience with youth preferred
- Ability to lead daily devotions and participate in Sunday Chapel
- Experience driving student vans or willingness to become certified to drive
