Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents for Milton Hershey School, a married couple residing on campus in student homes to supervise and mentor 8–13 students, manage household routines and medications, drive students to activities, plan and participate in developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, oversee budgeting and reporting, with an initial nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, transitioning later to a placed houseparent in the same student home; relocation to Hershey, PA provided with benefits and housing included.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-year married status
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role modeling for students
Additional Requirements
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Must complete individual employment applications for both spouses
