Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparents live on campus in on-site homes, supervising and mentoring 8–13 students, managing household routines, administering medications, transporting students to activities, and leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel. They oversee budgeting and reporting, and begin with a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule before transitioning to the placed houseparent role with the same student group. Benefits include relocation assistance, comprehensive insurance, and paid time off; candidates must be a legally married couple, with both spouses 27+, and possess a high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse two-year marriage requirement
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Compliance with pet restrictions (fish and one dog of approved breeds)
