Job Summary
Provide daily supervision, mentorship, and guidance for 8–13 students residing in on-campus homes. Manage household routines, administer medications, and oversee budgeting and reporting. Drive students to activities and actively engage them in developmental and recreational programs. Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel services. Upon hire, support various student homes on a schedule of nine consecutive duty days followed by three days off, eventually transitioning to a Placed Houseparent role with a specific student group. Both spouses must complete individual applications and adhere to campus safety policies regarding alcohol, weapons, and pets.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
Desired Qualifications
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
