Job Summary
Two-person married couple Full-time Flex Houseparents reside on-campus in student homes to supervise 8–13 students, provide care and mentorship, manage household routines and scheduling, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and engage in developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions and chapel, oversee budgeting and reporting, and transition from nine-days-on/three-days-off to a placed houseparent role. Compensation includes salary per person with comprehensive benefits and relocation assistance; requires both spouses to complete individual applications and to maintain a committed, professional, smoke- and weapon-free campus presence.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse, married for at least two years
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to drive student home vans
- No more than three dependent children in home
- Commitment to smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- Ability to lead devotions and chapel services
- Proselytizing prohibited
