Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparents living on campus in a student home to supervise 8–13 students, provide care, mentorship, and supervision; administer medications as needed; drive students to activities; plan and participate in developmental and recreational activities; lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel; oversee budgeting and household reporting; initially cover multiple homes on a 9-days-on/3-days-off schedule before transitioning to a placed houseparent role with the same student group; relocation to Hershey, PA is provided as part of the role; comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, retirement, and paid training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- No alcohol permitted while on duty
Additional Requirements
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must complete individual employment applications
- Age 27+ for both spouses
