Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents reside on campus at Milton Hershey School to supervise and nurture groups of 8–13 students, providing care, guidance, supervision, and support. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning from nine days on / three days off to a Placed Houseparent role with the same student group. Requires married couple, eligibility for relocation to Hershey, PA, and active participation in a structured, faith-aligned campus community.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for married couples
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
