Job Summary
Provide daily supervision, mentorship, and care for 8–13 students in on-campus homes while managing household routines, schedules, and budgeting. Administer medications, drive students to activities, and lead devotions and recreational programming. Follow a schedule of nine consecutive duty days followed by three days off, transitioning eventually to a Placed Houseparent role with a dedicated student group. Both spouses must be legally married for at least two years, aged 27 or older, and hold a valid driver's license to operate student home vans. Relocation to Hershey, PA is required for this full-time position.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
Desired Qualifications
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
