Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparent roles for married couples at Milton Hershey School. On-campus housing for groups of 8–13 students, responsibilities include daily supervision, mentorship, medication administration, driving to activities, planning development/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and household reporting, with a nine-on/three-off cycle transitioning to a placed Houseparent role living with the same student group. Requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid U.S. driver’s license (and ability to become certified to drive student home vans), and a legally married couple (both spouses 27+). Benefits include relocation assistance, comprehensive health and other insurance, retirement options, paid time off, and a salary of $44,768 per person (approximately $168,000 total per couple with housing and meals). Both spouses must complete individual applications for consideration.

Additional Requirements

- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- Valid driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Proselytizing prohibited regarding chapel services
