Job Summary
Houseparents provide on-campus supervision, mentorship, and care for groups of 8–13 students in residential homes, with duties including managing routines, administering medications, transporting students to activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel visits, budgeting and reporting, and transitioning from flex to placed houseparent roles. The position is a two-person, full-time role for married couples, requiring a high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and adherence to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus. Relocation assistance and paid training are provided, with a structured schedule (nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off) and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Two spouses must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role models for students
