Houseparents - Relocation to Hershey, PA Required

Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents live on campus in Hershey, PA, and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students in on-campus homes. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications and ensuring student wellness, driving students to activities and planning/developing activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and functioning as a resident caregiver within a structured, family-like environment. Schedule begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement as a Placed Houseparent living and working with the same student group in their own home. Qualifications include experience with youth, two-year minimum marriage requirement for both spouses, age 27 or older for both, maximum of three dependent children in the home, adherence to campus policies (smoke-free, weapon-free, no alcohol on duty, fish and one dog allowed), valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans, ability to lead devotions and Judeo-Christian Chapel services, high school diploma or GED, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
