Job Summary
Provide daily supervision, mentorship, and care for 8–13 students in on-campus homes while managing household routines, schedules, and medication administration. Drive students to activities and lead devotions alongside them, including accompanying students to Sunday Chapel. Oversee budgeting and household reporting, ensuring a structured, family-like environment supports academic, emotional, and social development. This two-person role requires married couples (minimum two years) aged 27+ to reside on campus, with a schedule of nine consecutive duty days followed by three days off. Both spouses must complete individual applications, and the team serves over 2,200 pre-K through 12th grade students from disadvantaged backgrounds.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
Desired Qualifications
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
