Job Summary
Two-person married couple role for Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School. Couples reside in on-campus student homes, supervising and mentoring 8–13 students, managing household routines and schedules, administering medications, driving to activities, planning and leading developmental/recreational activities, and leading daily devotions with Sunday Chapel. Initially on a nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a placed houseparent living and working with the same group of students. Includes relocation support and comprehensive benefits (medical/dental/vision, retirement, PTO, and housing).
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-spouse, two-year marriage minimum
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services
- Ability to relocate to Hershey, PA or on-campus housing
- Ability to work a nine-on, three-off schedule and transition to a placed houseparent role
