Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents for Milton Hershey School, residing in on-campus student homes in Hershey/Mechanicsburg, PA. Provide supervision, mentorship, and support for a group of ~8–13 students; manage household routines, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions and Chapel attendance, oversee budgeting and reporting. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent in the same student home. Includes relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Two-spouse requirement for employment applications (both spouses must complete individual applications)
- Two years of marriage minimum for applicants
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
