Job Summary
Houseparents for Milton Hershey School: a Full-time Flex Houseparent two-person role for married couples, residing in on-campus student homes in Hershey, PA, to supervise and guide 8–13 students, manage routines, administer medications, drive to activities, lead devotions and chapel, oversee budgeting, and transition from Flex to Placed Houseparent. Salary per person is $46,917 with relocation allowed; benefits include medical/dental/vision, retirement, and paid time off. Must be legally married for at least two years, both spouses aged 27+, and have a high school diploma or GED. Training provided; includes on-site housing and meals while on duty.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-spouse role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Proselytizing prohibited during duties
