Job Summary
Provide daily supervision, mentorship, and care for 8–13 students in on-campus homes while managing household routines, medication administration, and student wellness. Drive students to activities and lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel services. Oversee budgeting and household reporting, then transition to a Placed Houseparent role working with the same student group. Schedule involves nine consecutive duty days followed by three days off, with unscheduled weekday time while students attend school. Both spouses must be married for at least two years, over 27, and hold a valid U.S. driver's license to operate student home vans.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
Desired Qualifications
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
