Houseparents - Relocation to Hershey, PA Required

Houseparents for Milton Hershey School: a full-time, two-person, married-couple role residing on-campus in Nelson, GA (relation to Hershey, PA noted for relocation to on-campus homes). The couple will supervise and mentor 8–13 students in a home-like setting, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and engage in developmental/recreational activities, lead daily devotions, and accompany students to Sunday Chapel. Initial nine days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement as a dedicated houseparent in a single student home. Benefits include salary of $46,917 per person (about $180,000 per couple with housing/meals/utilities), comprehensive health/dental/vision insurance, retirement options, paid time off, and relocation assistance. Qualifications include experience with youth, two years of marriage minimum, both spouses aged 27+, high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive school vans, ability to lift 50 lbs, and adherence to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus with no alcohol on duty.
