Job Summary
Provide daily supervision, mentorship, and guidance for 8–13 students while managing household routines, schedules, and medication administration. Drive students to activities and lead devotions alongside them to Sunday Chapel. Oversee budgeting and household reporting while planning developmental and recreational experiences. Work nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, eventually transitioning to a Placed Houseparent role with a specific student group. Both spouses must be legally married for at least two years, age 27 or older, and hold a valid driver's license for student van certification. This two-person role offers a salary of $46,917 per person with free housing, meals, and relocation assistance at Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
