Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents needed to reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and chapel attendance, budgeting and household reporting. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a placed houseparent in the same student home. Requires experience with youth, strong integrity, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and compliance with campus safety and alcohol/drug policies. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-year marriage minimum for spouses
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples
- Commitment to smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Desire to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian chapel services
- Ability to relocate to on-campus homes
