Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparent couple to reside in on-campus student homes in Hershey, PA, providing daily supervision and mentorship, administering medications, managing household routines and student schedules, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, with a nine-days-on/three-days-off schedule; later transitioning to a Placed Houseparent role living with the same group of students in their own home. Relocation assistance and paid training are provided; comprehensive benefits available.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
