Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents for Milton Hershey School: a married couple resides in on-campus student homes to supervise 8–13 students, provide mentorship and guidance, manage household routines, administer medications, drive students to activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, oversee budgeting and reporting, with a nine-on/three-off schedule transitioning into a Placed Houseparent, plus relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits. Salary per person is $44,768 (approx. $168,000 total per couple with housing/meals/benefits).
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
