Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents reside on campus in Hershey, PA, to supervise and mentor a group of 8–13 students in student homes. Responsibilities include daily supervision, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting, and household reporting. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off; later transition to a Placed Houseparent living with the same group. Salary is $46,917 per person (about $180,000 total per couple) plus comprehensive benefits and relocation assistance.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be legally married for at least two years
- Two-person role for couples
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Chapel services
- Prohibited activities: no alcohol on duty; smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- Relocation assistance and paid training provided
