Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparent positions at Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA. Couples reside in on-campus student homes, provide supervision and mentorship to groups of 8–13 students, manage household routines and schedules, administer medications, drive students to activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, oversee budgeting and reporting, and participate in a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule before transitioning to a placed houseparent role. Requires experience with youth, a high school diploma or GED, and valid U.S. driver’s license; relocation assistance provided. Salary is $44,768 per person with comprehensive benefits, including housing and meals during duty, and benefits coverage. For consideration, both spouses must submit individual applications.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-spouse, married for at least two years
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

- No alcohol permitted while on duty
- Smokefree and weapon-free campus
- Pet limitations: fish and one dog of approved breeds
