Job Summary
Houseparents (two-person, married couple) sought for on-campus student homes at Milton Hershey School. This Full-time Flex Houseparent role involves residing in a student home, providing daily supervision, mentorship, and care for a group of approximately 8–13 students, managing household routines, administering medications, coordinating transportation to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, and leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel. The role begins with a nine-on / three-off schedule and may transition to a placed Houseparent assignment with the same group of students. Compensation includes per-person salary and comprehensive benefits plus relocation assistance. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, valid U.S. driver’s license and driving-certification readiness, physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus with no alcohol on duty. It is a two-person, married-couple role; both spouses must be at least 27 years old and have been legally married for at least two years. Applicants must be willing to relocate to Hershey, PA.”,
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth

- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.

- Pet limitations: only fish and one dog of approved breeds allowed
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; staff serve as role models for students
