Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents for Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, living on-campus with a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Schedule begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement in a fixed student-home assignment. Benefits include salary per person, comprehensive benefits, relocation assistance, paid time off, and training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Two-person, legally married for at least two years
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
