Job Summary
Two-person, married-couple full-time Flex Houseparents live on-campus in student homes (8–13 students per home) to provide supervision, guidance, and developmental activities. Responsibilities include daily supervision, scheduling, medication administration, driving students to activities, leading devotions and Chapel visits, budgeting and reporting, and transitioning to a placed houseparent role. Position requires relocation to Hershey, PA, on-campus housing, and a schedule of nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual stability in a single student home. Benefits include salary per person with comprehensive medical/dental/vision, retirement options, relocation assistance, and paid time off.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for married couples
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Chapel services
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
Additional Requirements
- Must be legally married for at least two years
- Smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
