Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two married spouses) reside in on-campus student homes at Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, and provide care, mentorship, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. The role begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off and may transition to a Placed Houseparent living with the same group of students in their own home. Benefits include salary per person of $44,768 (total per couple ~ $168,000 including housing and meals), comprehensive health and retirement benefits, relocation assistance, paid time off, and paid training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for married couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- No alcohol on duty and compliance with campus policies
- Relocation and paid training provided

- Must be legally married for at least two years; both spouses must apply individually.
