Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparent role at Milton Hershey School on-campus in Hershey, PA. Couples reside in student homes to supervise 8–13 students, provide mentorship, manage household routines and schedules, administer medications, transport students to activities, plan and engage in developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, oversee budgeting and household reporting, and transition to a Placed Houseparent where they live and work with the same group of students. The position includes nine days on duty followed by three days off during initial placement, relocation assistance, and comprehensive benefits for both spouses.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel services
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
